This Rooster guy has a good point about the Game, Madden is going to be the same game every year with better graphics. We need Mutant League Football to come back. I remember playing this game for hours when I was a kid. It had all the selling points of a game for todays gamers, blood,guts,gore with fun game play. That seems to be what sells in todays gameing world.

Yea I'd spend $60 on Mutant League Football!

There is one option in the game that **** that I have seen, and have only played it for one day. The option to rewind the game is as lame as it gets, I know you can take it off, but this is a stupid option unless your playing the CPU. I'm shure Tom Brady or Bret Farve or any other QB in the league would love to have a big rewind botton that erases a mistake but, that don't happen in real life. Other than that the game is pretty much the same old Madden with real good graphics.

P.S EA BRING BACK MUTANT LEAGUE FOOTBALL PLEASE!

Well despite some minor issues....especially !! the game freezing issue which is actually kind of scary as to how much I have been hearing about this

It's still a great & fun game to play and it's the best Madden yet IMO..especially when play head to head with an opponent who plays the game like a real game of NFL football the way it should be played.

i haven't been having that many problems online. just the online lobby freezing a couple time the other night, but it stopped doing it.

i was really ****ed at first with the collision detection, the 'suction' that was supposedly eradicated, etc.. but now that my online is functioning better, and I've delved into the mechanics more.. I must say I am impressed with the flexibility at the line, and the easiness of interceptions. It feels like a real game in the sense that you start to slow down, think things through, etc.. the realism is there more than any other title so far. Once I fully understood the GUI, and realized I could call offense by PA pass, shotgun, inside run, outside run, etc.. it became much more fun. I think the 8.7-9 that this game is getting is high, but understandable.. after all, if new games are getting low ratings, who's going to buy a new console? The reviewers have a 'job' besides reviewing ;)

Madden 2009 is horrible, i've been playing Madden for years and this is the worst one. They cant catch for S*** and sometime when they are open the ball goes threw them. I cant believe that the reviews on this game were that good. I will never buy another Madden Football game ever. NCAA is great!

As soon as Madden bought the license to the NFL thats when the game started being average at best. They saw 2k making a game that looked good but they didn't have the gameplay of madden. So know they can sell us whatever they want and we have to buy it because it's the only NFL video game.

The online play is horrible when it comes to disconnects and no alternate jerseys online is EA just being plain lazy and not paying attention to detail.
