I like how they made it the first game that actually adapts to our playing style. I don't like it though that normally i play on all-pro difficutlity usally get 4- 5 ints. & my skill says i have 0!! pass defense. it's bs. PLEASE EA, BRING BACK NFL STREET!!!

this is definitely the best madden so far... I am absolutely in love with the new footplant system and the new animations for ball carriers... a lot of people talk about all these other stupid "artificial" things like graphics and ESPN integration but I honestly could care less about any of that except for gameplay... running the ball is the heart and soul of football and doing now feels better than ever (especially with guys like Adrian "all day" Peterson)... EA did an excellent job with the revamped gameplay and getting rid of most of those stupid canned animations... if they take this game's current gameplay and fix a few hiccups here and there, next year's madden will be even greater

Madden 09 is the best football game for next gen so far, TD Celebrations, it's brought back all of the play audibles, zone coverage audibles, and slide protection for a dominate run-game. The REWIND, it's a good idea, ya it's cheap, but even MADDEN PROS like the idea of havin one more chance to get a first down or get the ball back. Graphics are way more advanced then ncaa and the gameplay's smoother and alot more difficult to score on the CPU. Rivalry games? Good Idea, but make it a cooler experience.

Problems- It likes to freeze for about 30 seconds, Sometimes the A.I. likes to chill and not go for the ball. Fans and sidelines need some work, bring back the chain gang and sideline refs and 3 and inches measurement, and for the menu bring back the videos on the screen or make it to where you can watch highlights. Bring in alot of new cut scenes like the pro football hall of fame, draft day, and espn news or somethin. ONE MORE THING- bring back the main player intro through the tunnel.

PS- BRING BACK NFL STREET, DONT BRING THAT CRAP LIKE NFL TOUR, BUT NFL STREET!!!! THAT WAS THE ****!

Only complaints that I have it should track the francise stats...ints...rushing...online like they do the onlie games. And make a option next to build a player that looks like you like on facebreaker.....game freezes on me like 6 times when playing by myself so i all the hard work i put in a game doesn't count.

well i have to say that it is not the same ole madden theres alot of peeps who love last years game cause all the glicth'n.well i have had the game freeze up but never online since i gotten the update its real the do overs r just that don't cut them on an no probs. and the fans well play all-pro football and see how they did it ea has a lock on the nfl so just deal for bout 6 years.

The fans look so fake and same with the players on the sidlines.... i mean would it be that hard to make them like walking around to get a water or somthing it just shows that EA is too lazy to add somthing that little into their game

I have really enjoyed this game. Everything plays smooth and there's always loads to do. The online leagues should've been more thought on, and the occasional freeze resulting in an online loss are the only complaints that I can think of. I have noticed a little glitch with the lead blocking control, there will be times where right off the line, I go to make a block, but my lineman just stands straight up and lets the opponent right by for a tackle of loss. Fix that EA, and everything else should be enjoyable for another year. ^_^
