Welcome back!  Last week we looked at three of the five new courses in the game this year now onto the other two.

A truly classic course located in London, England, The West Course at Wentworth is rich with history and is a place where golf is truly an experience.  It's a venue where the past, present and future come together where classic, timeless golf course design and tournament heritage meets 21st century course conditioning and immaculate playing surfaces.  Designed by famed golf course architect Harry Colt, the West Course measures out to 7,324 yards and plays to a Par 73.

Very few courses can boast a tournament history on par with the Wentworth's West Course.  The West annually hosts the HSBC World Matchplay and the European TOUR's flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship.  It also hosted a little event known as the Ryder Cup in 1953 and then the Canada Cup in 1956.  Visually it's very pleasing as the stretch of heathland is surrounded by woodland of pine, oak and birch.  The heavily wooded landscape has aesthetic and strategic benefits in the sense that it is both easy on the eye and ideal for creating well-defined hole routings.  World renowned golfer Ernie Els redesigned Wentworth in 2005 and 2007, bringing a classic piece of work into the 21st century.  It is a stern test, but above all a fair test.

Last but certainly not least is one of our truly exotic looking courses that will surely please you as it looks unlike any other course in the game.  Wolf Creek Golf Club is settled in between the mountains in the northeast corner of Mesquite, Nevada in the United States.  The Par 72 layout, playing to 6,939 yards is carved beautifully out of the desert.  Visually, it's absolutely amazing and is sure to overwhelm you with its dazzling beauty and breath-taking views...yes, even in a video game!

With massive amounts of elevation, picking the right club is truly a challenge.  Combine that with hitting drives over and around mountains as well as approaches flirting with luminous running waterfalls and you have a golfing experience like no other.  Wolf Creek, opened in 2000 is an 18-hole roller coaster ride that will test every shot in your bag.

Lush green fairways wind through the rugged desert terrain and elevated tee boxes greet you with immaculate views of the course.  It will not only amaze your eye but it will also challenge your game and I'm guessing will become one of your favorite courses in the game.

So, there it is.  Five new amazing courses for you to play in Tiger Wood PGA TOUR® 09, from classic to exotic, they all look amazing with the new graphics engine. They're sure to provide you with a unique and challenging golf gaming experience.  Good luck and hit'em straight!

I'm just learning 09 and I must say that I love it! I haven't played any of the others so I have nothing to compare to. But so far so good, btw, haven't had any problems with the servers.

after playing the demo of 09 I was hooked. I have liked each year...including 08...previously dissed by notorious. it made you try harder that's all. this year I like the fact that you can sacrific power if you want a bigger sweet spot and if you have good accuracy you can add more power by making the sweet spot a lot smaller...also I have a tendancy to hook....just the way my fingers work...the new tuning featuer makes it so I can swing comfortably and still hit it straight....awesome job!!

Well I just played the demo of 09. From what little I played of 08 (because I didn't like it)it seems like 09 is set up the same as 08. The personal coach is useless just like I thought he would be. I am pretty dissapointed that EA says they listen read the blogs. Everybody I played with says they don't like 08 and 07 was the best one so far. I guess I have no choice but to learn how to play 09 because the 07 server is about to be shut down. I hope I am wrong but right now I am very dissapointed. The graphics are great as well as the new courses. I wish they put some work into the crappy server.

New courses look nice, big improvements needed in gameplay & online servers from 08, hopefully third party controllers will not give 100% straight shots even on tour mode like in 08!

Notorious I wouldn't mind keeping 07 the problem is EA is shutting down the server and keeping 08's active. Stop wasting your time on something as stupid as party golf and use your time to correct the connection and lag time of the game play.

Its nice to see you invest all the time and effort into graphics, but are you addressing the crappy game play from TW08? The swing stick was terrible, way too sensitive, off by a human hair and you were in the gallery. If not, then I will keep my TW07 copy for yet another year, rather have good game play and ok graphics then great graphics and shotty game play.
