Q: How do I create a blog?
To start your own blog, select NEW in the top right-hand corner of the Blogs screen. Then, in the New Blog screen, enter a title in the appropriate box and enter your text into the form below it.
Q: How do I report unsuitable content on EA SPORTS™ World?
To report blogs or comments that you deem unsuitable, click REPORT and the content will be looked into.
Q: How do I edit my blog?
To edit your blog (and to publish it, if it has been saved as a draft), select EDIT on the right of the Blogs screen.
Q: Who can see my videos?
This depends on which of your Groups you published your video to (see How do I publish my video to a Group?).
Q: How do I comment on a video?
To comment on a video, enter your thoughts into the form below the video screen and select SUBMIT.
Q: How do I create a Group?
At the moment you are unable to create your own Group. However we are hoping to introduce this option in the future.
Q: How do I delete one of my videos?
To delete a video, select DELETE on the right-hand side of the Video Player screen.
Q: How do I rate someone’s blog?
To rate a blog, select the appropriate star (out of five) at the top of the screen and then select SUBMIT.
Q: How do I send a message?
To send a message, select SEND NEW MESSAGE in the top left-hand corner of any screen (or select NEW MESSAGE in the My Messages screen). Then choose a Friend from the drop-down list at the top of the screen, write your message and select SEND (alternatively, select MESSAGE next to a Friend’s name in the My Friends screen).
Q: How do I create a new EA SPORTS™ World Persona?
Select the PROFILE tab at the top of the screen, click NEW PERSONA and follow the on-screen instructions.
Q: How do I upload a video to EA SPORTS™ World?
To upload a video from an EA SPORTS™ game, select INSTANT REPLAY on the Pause Menu while playing a match and follow the on-screen instructions. A confirmation will appear when it has successfully uploaded.
Q: How do I change my personal details?
To amend your personal details, select the PROFILE tab at the top of the screen, click EDIT in the My Bio widget on the My Profile screen, make your changes and select SAVE CHANGES.
Q: How do I join a Group?
To join a Group, select the GROUPS tab at the top of the screen, sort the selection using the drop-down list and find the Group you want to join. Then, in your chosen Group’s home screen, select JOIN.
Q: Who can I message?
The messaging tool allows you to contact anyone on your Friends List.
Q: Why is there no female Avatar image?
In an effort to align EA SPORTS World with our primary user base, the decision was made to use a male avatar image for its launch. However, a female avatar image is planned for release soon.
Q: How do I rate a video?
To provide a rating for a video, click the relevant star on the right-hand side of the screen and select SUBMIT.
Q: How can I tell if a Friend is online?
To check whether a Friend is online, look at the monitor icon to the left of their name in your Friends List. If it is blue, they are online.
Q: How do I accept a Friend Request?
To accept a Friend request, select any message in your Inbox with the Subject heading “Friend Request” and then select the link in the body of that message.
Q: How do I change my EA SPORTS™ World Persona?
Select the PROFILE tab at the top of the screen, click the Persona List drop down and choose which Persona you want to adopt. Then click SET PERSONA.
Q: How do I make changes to my EA SPORTS World Avatar?
You can create an EA SPORTS World Avatar at www.easportsworld.com. Choose from a variety of options to build your ultimate virtual representation.
Q: How do I comment on a blog?
To comment on a blog, enter your thoughts into the form at the bottom of the blog and select SUBMIT.
Q: How do I leave a Group?
To leave a Group, select the GROUPS tab at the top of the screen, sort the selection using the drop-down list and find the Group you want to leave. Then, in your chosen Group’s home screen, select LEAVE.
Q: How do I use Talk About It?
Select TALK in the Talk About It widget on your Group’s home screen, write your message into the Talk Now box and select SUBMIT.
Q: How do I add a Friend?
You can add Friends in two ways. Either select a member’s profile name to access their Profile page and select REQUEST AS FRIEND from under their Avatar or type part of their profile name into the search box in the top right-hand corner of the screen, click the arrow symbol, find the member you wish to invite and select ADD FRIEND. Then, to send the invite, type a personal message into the text box and select SEND.
Q: How do I publish my video to a Group?
To publish a video, choose a Group from the drop down list on the right of the Video Player screen and select PUBLISH.
Q: How do I publish a blog to a Group?
To publish a blog to a Group, when you’ve finished writing, choose a Group from the drop down list and select SAVE & PUBLISH at the bottom of the screen.
Q: What is this silhouette on the left-hand side of the screen?
The silhouette is your EA SPORTS World Avatar, a virtual representation of you within EA Sports World.
Q: How do I find my uploaded video on EA SPORTS™ World?
To find your video, select the PROFILE tab at the top of the screen to access your Profile and find your My Videos widget. To view a clip, simply select it.
Q: What browsers do you support?
We currently support Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x, Mozilla Firefox 2.x and 3.x, and Safari 3.x.  Supported browsers will change over time and we highly encourage users to upgrade to the latest versions of their favorite browser as this will improve their experience not only on EA SPORTS World but on other sites as well.
