This game was odd from the begining. Nothing went or felt right all game long. I tried to establish the run game and they weren't having any of it. I tried some short modest passes and still nothing. I felt that my recievers from a Big12 school would flat out run whatever DB's Troy had to offer on the deep fly patterns. Again that wasn't the case. The worst part of this debacle was the cold hard fact that I could not stop their high powered offense. They ran most everything out of the shotgun, which made it pretty hard to key in on runs vs passes. They had a speedy black QB that could run the option or throw the underneath passing routes. I tried to stay humble the entire game and not freak at all, but being ranked #25 in the nation and playing against a team like the Troy Trojans it was hard. A big upset was definalty on my mind when they went up 14-0 in the first quarter. Hopefully i won't take another team for the rest of the year lightly again. I have some tough games from here on out so i need to get focused again and gut the rest of the season out.

P.S. I was even at home in Stillwater, OK for this game (weird, huh).
