I've been playing a ton of NFL Head Coach this weekend, starting my career as coach of the Washington Redskins.  Here's a breakdown of all of the updates I've posted so far during my career.  Click each link to check out the updates.

The Career Begins

Week 1 vs the Giants

Week 2 vs the Saints

Week 3 vs the Cardinals

Feel free to drop some thoughts (maybe even some advice since it's clear I need it) or post links to your own blogs about your career as an NFL Head Coach.

hey eric check this out...i started out with the chargers. i didnt franchise anyone. they i got an offer to me from another team to trade thier #1 pick for next years #1. so i did and got 2 #1's and i ended up with 2 #2's. I had the chance to get (of all players) D Mack. I didnt take him I actually took a ss and got a guy that has 100 speed (Don Avery). I can honestly say that after the 8th week, my team is truly unstoppable. Now, my cap is not looking so good but I am just going to wait until the end of the yer to resign everyone. Just wanted to fyi you on Don Avery. He is a beast that is rated better than Devin Hester.

glad i could help (potentially). Also look at some of the defensive plays for download, many of them work extremely well.

That's a good point. One thing I haven't spent a ton of time doing is creating plays. I did create a few to import into Madden, but haven't used them much in Head Coach yet. Looking through my playbook, I can probably do some work on my defensive plays. I'll mess around with it and let you know if it helps.

wow, seems to me like ur just getting bit by the fact that the CPU controls your players. I would try to make some good plays in on offense in the play creator, try and make one where the TE can get open on an out pattern for when your near the goaline it worked for me. I'm in a carrer with the Dolphins and its goin good 2-0 (Having $50 mil in cap room in year one before FA helps)

Jason camble is not good haha I would try a new offensive line coach, and maybe some new blood through the draft
