I arrived in Los Angeles today for what will almost certainly be several crazy days leading up to the launch of Madden NFL 09.  There are a number of things happening here in LA over the next few days, the biggest of which is Maddenpalooza.  Most of you have probably heard about it already, but here's a link for those who haven't caught wind of it yet.

I'm bringing along some of our hardcore fans as well (they aren't here just yet) and am looking forward to celebrating 20 years of Madden NFL Football.  It's absolutely amazing to me that the game has been around for that long and I look forward many more years of virtual gridiron greatness.  Equally amazing is all of the hard work that goes into throwing an event like Maddenpalooza.  It's a massive project and I think the end result is going to be very impressive, even for those who worked on putting it together.

If you're not in LA or weren't able to score a ticket, make sure to check out Madden NFL 09 Kickoff Live Tuesday night.  It's the next best thing to being there.
