We were off here in Canada yesterday for BC Day (I love Canadian holidays), so that's why you didn't see a blog entry from me.  With all of this Brett Favre craziness that is happening in Green Bay, I can't help but think about him in a Packers uniform on the cover of Madden NFL 09.  Sound off in the comments section, is this Favre publicity good or bad for Madden NFL 09?

Speaking of publicity, I wanted to touch on something.  EA SPORTS has been in the press a lot recently after our announcements at E3.  We have demos out (FaceBreaker, Madden 09), and we are deep into our big season of game shipments including the grand daddy, Madden NFL 09 next week.  With that said, I know that EA SPORTS the brand has been hit hard by our hardcore audience.  Some say we're slipping a bit,  but I can assure you guys that what you've come to know and love about EA SPORTS is still here and we're out to prove that to you with our sports lineup this year.   Madden is going to blow your minds guys.  I really can't wait to start reading impressions from all of you. 

What are you thinking of the FaceBreaker demo (leave a comment)?  I'm seeing a TON of great boxer creations.  My favorite so far has definitely been a certain guy not named Tom Selleck and not from a show called Magnum P.I.  (how's that legal?).
