If you are going to get NFL HEad Coach 09, You should download the patch first BEFORE you play the game. the patch helps this out. Overall, the game is pretty sweet. It's menu for going to the features is called a "Clipboard". it has everything you need to know, such as, signing free agents, trade  negotiations, gameplans, and all the good stuff. Let's talk about the Free agents. it is good to know that when you want to sign a free agent, you CAN NOT SIGN A FREE AGENT UNTIL HIS NAME COMES UP IN THE CLIPBOARD!!! this was pretty confusing at first, but then it makes sense. When Negotiating a contract with, say, Darren McFadden, There will be pre-dertimined packages that have 3 things: 1) the Contract Salary, 2) the Bonus money offered 3) the incentives. You must take those three into account for those 3 things will affect your salary. I signed Darren McFadden for about, $55.21M, $10,000,000M bonus, with 3 incentives, start 16 games, win rookie of the year and reach 1 thousand rushing yards all for $1,000,000 each.
