I walked into this game thinking how i'm gonna blow them out of the water. That never happend. I scored right away with a playaction that was a designed run with my rookie HB (Seth Howell) that got me a 40 yard TD. Then I got the ball back and went down the field again and scored quickly with a TD. I simmed the kickoff and they took it to the house for 90+ yards for a TD. So much for leaving them with a big goose egg at the end of the game. I got the ball and made quick work and got another TD in a hurry. Score is now 21-7. I again got the ball back and threw a intreception which would wind up being 1 of 3 in the game. This pick wound up going for 6 points. Score 21-14. I was never really concerned with losing this game seeing how i was home and they couldn't score offensivley. I look back on that game and remind mysefl that i was trying some new offensive things and also just opening the playbook up a little. I think that if i pass a little less and stick to the heavy run game (i have tons of great HB's) i should do just fine next week against ranked Texas Tech. I looked ahead to this game and it hurt me a little. Texas Tech has a QB thats in the Heisman race right now. I hope to knock him out of it though. I advance to 3-0 and still unranked (when will the cowboys get some love from the voters?).

P.S. After this next week i will be on a long road trip, and the Cowboys do not play well on the road, especially against ranked schools.
