Week one of our online dynasty has come and gone, and so has one of the members of our league.  I fear that this will be a problem with most online dynasties, unless all of the participants are personal friends of each other.  Start doing badly in your dynasty, so just leave it and join another one.  Not cool, but whatever.  So our league of Sun Belt teams is now down to 7 participants and I believe we may actually be down to 6 after week 2.  One participant has yet to login for a week now, so that doesn't bode well.

As for the football action, most of the league games have come against the CPU.  There's only been one head to head game so far.  We have just one team that is 2-0, a few 1-1's, and a few 0-2's.  I am in the 1-1 group, pounding the cupcake FCS Midwest team 63-9 this week.  It was a little different than the 1 point loss at Texas A&M last week.  I used the mass subs feature near the end of the first half to try and get my backups some playing time.  There didn't seem to be much drop off between the starters and backups.  Arkansas State, my team, doesn't have a lot to work with as far as superstars.  In week three I'll be taking on Southern Miss.  This ought to tell me a lot about my club, a mid-major college, that has a better rating than Ark St, but is not a powerhouse.  Pulling out a win against Southern Miss should help my recruiting a little.

Speaking of recruiting, I had no week 1 signings.  I've been using the new quick call feature, and targeting mostly 2 star players.  I actually had most recruits' interest either stay the same or go down.  Probably due to my week 1 loss.  I guess they don't believe in moral victories!  Hopefully the whipping of FCS Midwest will impress them and move me up on their short lists.

I'm interested to hear from you if you're in a similar recruiting situation...1-star team using the quick call feature.  How successful have you been in your recruiting attempts?
