Having Trouble Linking your Persona to your EA/EA SPORTS World Account?

Hey guys, I have noticed that some of you are still having issues linking your persona to your EA SPORTS World account so I put together this step by step guide to help everyone get their accounts working properly.

To link your persona to your EA/EA SPORTS World account:

1. Click on the following URL: https://profile.ea.com/login.do?surl=myinfoprofile.do 

2. Enter you EA Username and Password

3. Click on the Link Existing Persona link

4. Click on the account type drop down link and select either XBOX or Playstation Username

5. Under account name, enter either your XBOX360 Gamertag or PSN name

6. Click submit and continue

7. Your account should be good to go

If you are still experincing problems linking your account after going through these steps, you will need to send an email to customer support and they will be in contact with you within 24 hours.

To email customer support:

1.  Click on the following URL: http://support.ea.com    

2.  Once there, click on the “Contact Us” link on the left side of the page

3. Enter your EA Username and Password. The username is the email address that you used to set up your EA account.

4. Under the platform drop down menu, select “web”

5. Under the game drop down menu, select “EA SPORTS World”

6. Under the category drop down menu, select “Registration” for the first box and “Unable to Register” for the second box

7. In the question box, let customer support know the steps that you have taken to link your account and what is happening when you try to link your persona to your EA/EA SPORTS World account.

8. Click on the finish and save link at the bottom of the page

After completing these steps, you will receive an incident number for your records. Someone from customer support will be in contact with you within 24 hours.

Note: Make sure your email address at the top of the page is correct as that is where the customer support email will go to. If it is not correct, you have the option at the top of the page to change it.

Sorry, we can't find information about that PlayStation Network Account. thats the message i get, i don't know what i'm doing wrong but my PSN and EA name is saying it's linked when i do get the email but not showin anything

hey man. i've tried the steps in your post but i still cant link my gamertag to my persona. it keeps saying it will email me but nothing comes through. i'm sure its something obvious i'm doing wrong. but any help would be great. thx

I registered at the EA website. When i go click on personas i don't have a drop down that says "Xbox Gamertag" All I see is EA ID. And my accounts arn't linking any ideas?

Guys I'm still having trouble, I haven't heard from EA support in a few days, since my problem stems from not being able to do anything past 'Step 6,' as it says that my PSN name is not found (or something along those lines); any ideas on how to sort it out? Thanks!

Glad it worked Vilmerz! I get 0-0 scores too in my match history if I am playing the CPU in a "play now" game. If I quit the game at a time where there was no score, it shows as 0-0 in the match history - the stats are recorded and I get a "tie". Likewise, if I quit before a "play now" game is over and I am losing, I'll get the stats and a loss in my match history. Hopefully this will be fixed.

My only issue now is the 0-0 scores that pop up in my match history... I think it may have something to do with logging into the online mode, and it somehow recording a game being played. It is always my default favourite team as well.

Vilmerz, tell your friend try this if he hasn't already. Login to the persona he can and select "edit" from the "My Bio" section. On the right hand side he'll see "persona list" with a drop down. Here there may be 2 (or more) persona names and the EA ID or Xbox 360 (gamertag) the name is linked to. In my case, my Xbox 360 gamertag was linked to my persona, but in "My Bio - persona list" my persona was linked to my EA ID. After selecting my name to my Xbox 360 gamertag I was able to login correctly to my persona which housed all of Madden stats, videos, etc.

However, I still have the dummy persona duplicate. I hope this helps!

have my ps3 name linked and set up my avatar but it doesnt keep any of my stats tracked when I play a game? Anyone know how to fix this problem?
